The Location: ‘Keen Tower’ in Odin’s Gate
The Players: Merix, Archimond, Xantcha, Kranstan, and Raad and Emeryc from Dragonmyst Keep
The Scene: We’ve been camped at the tower for a little while, taking out the three groups that had come by, when another group of Mids was spotted to the north.
As the Mids spread out a little, a catapult1 was revealed in their midst. After a few moments, they had it aimed in roughly our direction. We stood there boggling and waited to see what would happen, when suddenly a couple of groups of Albs ran directly beneath the tower and up to the Mids.
The Mids were promptly dispatched by the mini-zerg, who then moved on, apparently unaware of our little group on the tower.
We laughed about the situation for a bit, then the Albs decided to return. Alas, we were overwhelmed, but we’d held that tower for quite a while before being overrun.
The Conclusion: Don’t try to attack Hibbies with a catapult, or the Albs will get you.

1 It wasn’t actually a catapult. Closer inspection revealed it to be a type of ballista called a palintone.
